The lab studies how intelligence works in people, builds it into software, and applies both to running an academic institution. Each thrust carries published research, deployed systems, or both.

Human Intelligence Research

Emotional intelligence, cultural intelligence, and entrepreneurial cognition in organizations and higher education.

This is the empirical foundation of the lab: peer-reviewed work on how people perceive, regulate, and adapt intelligence across cultural and organizational contexts. International students navigating a new academic culture. Employees under the strain of a pandemic. Founders whose cognitive complexity shapes what they can build.

The findings inform everything downstream. A system designed without a model of how people actually reason, feel, and adapt is a system that gets abandoned in week three.

Applied AI Systems

Designing and deploying production AI platforms, from problem framing and data model to interface and deployment.

The interesting constraint in applied AI is no longer capability. It is the distance between a model that can do something and a product a person will use on a Tuesday afternoon under deadline.

This thrust is deliberately hands-on: every platform in the Projects catalogue was designed, built, and deployed personally. That constraint is the point. It shows what a domain expert can now build alone, and where the real ceiling sits.

Institutional & Academic Intelligence

Applying human and artificial intelligence research to the work of running a business and technology school.

Most institutional dysfunction is not strategic. It is a data-entry problem wearing a strategy costume: two systems that do not talk, a report assembled by hand, a signal that arrives three weeks after it mattered.

This thrust covers accreditation and assessment infrastructure, enrollment intelligence, curriculum redesign across three accredited programs, and faculty development, all built inside the institution by someone who has to live with the results.
